Infancy Gospel of Grandfather Paradox
From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference
The Infancy Gospel of Grandfather Paradox was an apocryphal book written by Saint Richmal. It included a dialogue that condemned the anchoring of the web and the resultant linearity as unnatural; celebrated the adventurousness of the "lesser species"; and contemplated the idea of starting a new war, since the Great Houses were too boring to fight. (PROSE: Pre-narrative Briefings)
Behind the scenes
- "Infancy gospel" was a genre popular in early Christian; several non-canonical infancy gospels of Jesus Christ were written in the 2nd century.
- The idea of the "Infancy Gospel of Grandfather Paradox" was created by Nate Bumber for Cobweb and Ivory; after he decided not to include it in the story, Simon Bucher-Jones decided to reuse it for a pre-narrative briefing.[1]
