The Aaev were a species that existed long before 1609. Irving Braxiatel went back in time and bought defence satellites off the Aaev to defend the Solar system during the Armageddon Convention. Shortly after he bought the satellites, the Aaev were invaded and destroyed, due to their lack of defences. (PROSE: The Empire of Glass)
