Soron was a member of the Silurian Scientific Council. At a meeting, he told the Council that his planetoid would miss Earth completely. Dr Wolik told Soron that his figures were wrong, and Wolik's calculations showed the planetoid would by dragged towards the Silurians by Earth's gravity, and the passing of planet would "totally draw off Earth's atmosphere". The Council ruled in agreement with Wolik. (COMIC: Twilight of the Silurians)
