Taras was an engineer in Kiev in 1240.

He and Yehven went looking in the catacombs beneath the city for the legendary dark angel, hoping it could save them from the Mongols. However, when Taras opened its casket, the angel killed him and assumed his form. (PROSE: Bunker Soldiers)
