The grandfather of Kalinda Ulrik and Colonel Ulrik was a Jariden soldier who fought in the war of his people against the Daleks. He was remembered as a traitor as he would have fled the Battle of Pejorica. Actually, he had been captured by the Daleks and converted into a Roboman. Eventually, as per the Sixth Doctor's instructions, his grandson liberated him from Dalek control and instructed him to surrender himself to the Jariden forces. (AUDIO: The Four Doctors)
