Marcus Americanius Scriptor was a native of Roma I who obtained a Time Ring, leading to the formation of the Empire of Empires and their war against the Greater German Reich. As a descendant of Tiberius Americanius, Scriptor was part of one of the wealthiest families on his universe's Earth.

History

Scriptor was born on the 8th of Januarius MMDCLXI in his family's villa.

When he was 11, Scriptor began writing a history of America which took him 2 years to complete. After the Emperor read and enjoyed Scriptor's first work, he was commissioned to write more. Scriptor wrote the histories of the Hercules Bridge and the Roman Forum.

When he was 21, Scriptor was contacted by a reader of his work and informed of an old man who had appeared in the Roman Forum on the day of Scriptor's birth. Looking into reports of the man's appearance, Scriptor located a Time Ring which had been separated from the old man. Scriptor took it to the man and and grabbed onto him when he used it to travel to another universe. Scriptor killed the old man, took back the ring, and used it to return to Roma I.

After working out how to use the bracelet, Scriptor offered his newfound powers to the Emperor. Together they began a venture to contact other Romes, creating a vast empire of trade between the various parallel worlds.

Eventually Scriptor managed to travel beyond the Great Divide between worlds. There he found another set of universes where the Nazis had become the major power. Scriptor was taken prisoner by the Nazis, where he spent sixteen years in confinement, interrogated by Herr Abschrift, a servant of the Great Houses.

When war broke out between the Nazi Worlds and Rome, Scriptor led the final assault on Germania I. Upon attacking Berlin, he found that August Hitler had escaped to another Earth. Scriptor hunted him across the worlds to True Earth, where his enemy was finally slain in Brazil. (PROSE: Warlords of Utopia)

Scriptor later travelled to the City of the Saved, where he found the prison of Adolf Hitler. He was not allowed to see the prisoner, and told the guard that he would be waiting after the prisoner had served his six million life sentences. (PROSE: Warlords of Utopia Prologue)
