Major Thomas Kennet was a soldier.
When the Doctor called the United Nations for a team of speleologists to help him investigate what was happening in Lannet in 2003, they instead sent a military taskforce led by Major Kennet. After some disagreement, the Major and his team helped the Doctor find and defeat the Shalka. (NOTVALID: Scream of the Shalka, PROSE: Scream of the Shalka)
