Ian McElhinney played Ko Sharmus in the Doctor Who television story Ascension of the Cybermen.
In 2016, he appeared in the Star Wars film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story as General Jan Dodonna, an experience which he had stated as being "frustrating".[1]
