Rigellan

The Rigellans were a species inhabiting Rigel Seven. Their planet was rich in mud and the Rigellans almost worshipped it, regarding it as the primal ooze from which flowed all life. They lived mainly on fruits and beans.

They were ruled by a monarch who lived in a royal palace and was served by a palace guard. At one point in time, King Adelebert reigned; he was helped by the Doctor to put down a palace revolution led by his son, who eventually succeeded his father.
