The Shawshank Redemption was a film that Grace O'Brien loved that featured a man who dug a tunnel over the course of twenty years to escape imprisonment. When Graham O'Brien, Ryan Sinclair, Yasmin Khan and the Thirteenth Doctor were imprisoned on Adamantine by the Greenwatch, Graham proposed they dig their way out like the character in the film.
