Celia Dunthorpe

Celia Dunthorpe was an independent politician who wanted to reform government. She was the MP for Pottersbridge in 1987. She thought that the Daleks were cute and agreed with some of their plans for control of the 'galactic market'. She denounced the Doctor as a tyrant trying to impose his will upon others while disregarding the democratic process that had elected her to represent the people, ignoring the Doctor's protests that the people were not responsible for what she would do in her name. After the Doctor triggered a time storm on Skaro, Celia was left with several damaged Daleks including the dying Dalek Emperor, and proclaimed her intention to become Prime Minister of the Daleks that were left.
