Time of Arising

The Time of Arising was an event named by Aukon as the point at which the King Vampire would rise to conquer the universe. Aukon intended to initiate Adric as a chosen one at the event and also sacrifice Romana II as an offering. As the king rose, a scout ship plummeted into him, killing him and ruining the plan a thousand years in preparation. This in turn caused the Three Who Rule to die. (TV: State of Decay)
