Mechon 17 was a Mechonoid stationed on the planet Hesperus where the Mechanoids had been preparing for human colonisation for centuries, defending it from a Dalek invasion to that end. During the battle, Mechon 17 was destroyed when it was caught in the crossfire from two Daleks. (PROSE: War of the Daleks)
