Peter's father was a teacher who tried to keep himself busy by undertaking numerous projects around the house after he retired. He and his wife were saved by Peter and the Eighth Doctor after being possessed by Goomba, whose essence was in their garden furniture. (PROSE: The Wickerwork Man)
