'Miranda was the wife or girlfriend of Bruce, killed by the Master after he took possession of Bruce's body.

Miranda was played by Eliza Roberts (wife of Eric Roberts) in "Doctor Who: The TV Movie". Although her exact relationship with Bruce is ambiguous on-screen, the script of the TV Movie identifies her as his wife.
