G'Day of the Doctor

G’Day of the Doctor was a Doctor Who charity fundraising event created to aid the victims of the 2019-2020 Australian wildfires. The event was a joint project by various Doctor Who fan groups including; The Sisterhood of Karn, Diva Loka, The Time Ladies, and The Quiz of Rassilon.

Originally set to take place on Saturday 9 May 2020 at London's Royal Vauxhall Tavern, the event was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The event was set to premier An Unearthly Palaver, an original play written by Paul Magrs and featuring Katy Manning as Iris Wildthyme, and David Benson as Panda.

Instead a special video-package was streamed, LOCKDOWNUNDER contained contributions from Katy Manning, Nicola Bryant, Lisa Bowerman, Janet Fielding, Joe Lidster, Mark Gatiss and more.
