After the producers of Doctor Kildare took over Who, the titular Doctor Kildare treated many non-humans such as Daleks and Cybermen. Tommy's mother stated that he had cured Tommy's metal fatigue "just like that" whilst they watched him treat a Dalek. (NOTVALID: What If Doctor Who Was Produced By...?)
