As the Doctor went through the pit, he remarked that the Kaled God of War had the image of the “horned beast” that the Beast had; he continued to say that this was likely due to it’s image being beamed into every sentient mind’s subconscious, even the Kaleds. (TV: The Satan Pit) The Klade also worshipped a God of War. (PROSE: Father Time)
Behind the scenes
- The Klade, mentioned in Father Time to have worshipped a God of War, were implied to be the ultimate descendants of the Daleks, themselves descendants of the Kaleds. Thus, the mention in The Satan Pit of the Kaleds as having a God of War could be interpreted as a further clue towards the implication regarding the Klade's ancestry.
