The Worms That Turned! was the twenty-ninth short story of the Dalek Wars series, printed in issue 57 of Doctor Who: Battles in Time magazine. Like all installments of the Dalek Wars series, it is not considered a valid source by this Wiki due to being commercial in nature.

Plot
Professor Jonah Effrid writes about the Daleks' experience on the planet Uraka, where they tried to mine molybdenum for their saucers but were repelled by huge Urakan Worms who had evolved with the molybdenum to become resistant to attack. The Daleks did not take defeat lightly, shifting Uraka's sun, causing the planet to go supernova, and wiping out all life in that solar system.
