Logopolitan
The Logopolitans are a race of humanoid mathematicians from Logopolis.
Logopolitans look somewhat like Humans with grey hair and enlarged craniums. They could do do advanced math (such as Block Transfer Computations) in their heads and will only use computers for more simple tasks.
Logopolitans lived in the simple dwellings of Logopolis, working on various math problems relayed to them by the Monitor, each Logopolitan working on their section of the equation just with the use of an abacus. At some point, the Logopolitans discovered that the Universe head already reached heat death due to the advance of entropy. To continue to exist, the universe, a closed system, must open itself up. The Logopolitans were able to copy the Pharos Project with block tranfer computations and used it relay the computations that would maintain the CVE's which would open up the main universe, N-Space into a smaller one, E-Space.
They were able preserve the universe for a while, but they were constantly trying to find a more permanent solution. Whenthe Master silenced Logopolis, the constant calculations for the CVE's were stopped and entropy built up, killing all the Logopolitans. (DW: Logopolis)
