The Franco-Prussian war was a conflict on Earth between the Second French Empire and Prussia. The war ended with a disastrous defeat for the French. Emperor Napoleon III was ousted, and the Third French Republic was proclaimed as a direct result of the war's resolution. (PROSE: World Game)
