Behind the scenes
In the original script for The Android Invasion, Corporal Adams was a regular army soldier called Private Richard Adams. Max Faulkner had previously appeared as a member of UNIT in The Ambassadors of Death, where he was credited as "UNIT Soldier". It is possible that these two characters are one and the same, although this has never been confirmed either on-screen or in any spin-off media.
