Jalapeños were a spicy food which came in red or green. Jack McSpringheel liked them and offered them to Ruth Leonidas. Unfamiliar with them, Ruth ate one of each at the same time, causing her to be overwhelmed by the heat. (PROSE: Big Bang Generation)
