Brierly

The "associative lifeform" known as Brierly, six thousand years old in 1854, was formed from a variety of minds in parliament, all voting and forming consensus, hopping from willing body to body over the years so as to survive, adding new voices to the chorus. Eventually, in an effort to appeal to outside rules to govern the parliament, Brierly joined the British Army, rising to the rank of Sergeant. This, along with her unique nature, led her to chase down the witch Elizabeth Howkins in the town of Strines. The actions of Howkins and of Faction Paradox caused Brierly to merge with Spinning Jenny, then the loa of industry into a newfound loa of democracy. (PROSE: Spinning Jenny)
