Looking for error
I can't figure out the pattern of the error. Here are the pages that seem to be affected. I tested by entering slightly truncated search terms, and was sent instead to Forum/Forum Talk:DW discon plot holes/serial or ep name:
An unusual number of Dalek stories are affected by this. What's weird, though, is that not every Dalek story is. I've gone through 'em all, and only these titles are affected:
- The Daleks
- Destiny of the Daleks
- Remembrance of the Daleks
- Evolution of the Daleks
- Victory of the Daleks
- Horror of Fang Rock
There are a few stories without the word "Daleks" in them that are also affected.
- The End of the World
- Aliens of London
- World War Three
- Tooth and Claw
- Silence in the Library (but not Forest of the Dead)
- The Stolen Earth (but Journey's End is fine)
- The Waters of Mars (but not anything else in the 2009 "series")
- The Time of Angels (but not Flesh and Stone)
Ugh, there's also a new problem. If a story has a disambiguated name, like Midnight (TV story), that'll work fine. When you see it in a returned search list, it'll link fine. But the un-disambiguated name won't, necessarily.
Thus, the following names don't work:
- Midnight links to Forum talk:Doctor Who television discontinuity and plot holes/Midnight
- Castrovlva, Arc of Infinity Dragonfire, Dreamland and Paradise Towers similarly link weird (but all their corresponding (TV story) pages link fine) Logopolis, Castrovalva (TV story), Dragonfire (TV story) Logopolis (TV story), Arc of Infinity (TV story), Paradise Towers (TV story), Utopia, and Utopia (TV story) work fine)
- Rose Planet of the Dead doesn't link to the disambig page, but Human Nature and The End of Time Bad Wolf do
