Just a suggestion, but it would make adding this template a bit faster if, instead of using "Welcome Aboard, {{{1}}}, you replaced {{{1}}} with {{BASEPAGENAME}}, which automatically adds the name of the userpage, minus the user namespace prefix. So instead of having "Welcome Aboard, User:Eulalia459678", it would display "Welcome Aboard, Eulalia459678". - I know you posted that comment nearly a year ago, but I agree, in fact, thats the reason I came to this page, but because so many people don't subst this template, it would make all the existing talkpages look ugly — RC-1136 Hate Mail Here 19:16, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
