Hatnote

Epsilon and TheGreatGabester have identified that the design of our {{dab page}}, {{you may}}, and {{for}} templates is causing severe formatting issues on many of our pages (Whoisdoctorwho.co.uk chief among them). This problem could be very simply resolved by following our evil twin: as one can see at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doctor_Who, Wikipedia uses hatnote formatting for these templates, and the result can handle more links (our templates are currently capped at 2) while causing no issues. While Epsilon has proposed a thread about this at Tardis:Temporary forums, applying this fix to every instance of {{for}} across the wiki would be as easy as editing this template page. I believe this is a common-sense change and should be implemented without us having to wait for a forum slot to open up. – n8 () 17:49, 16 March 2023 (UTC)
