Trobe was affected with some time distortion called a chronological infection. He cycled through his 90 year life in seconds, which was time looped. He knew that he was unwell from a young age. As a teenager he became a bit aggressive. In middle age he told the Doctor how he and Warma created a chronon bomb. He wanted to stop the experiments. (AUDIO: Of Chaos Time The)
