Production errors
- The illustrations for this story depict the Fourth Doctor in his costume from Season 15 rather than the heavily redesigned Season 18 costume the Fourth Doctor wore throughout his televised adventures with Adric.
Continuity
- The TARDIS appears to land in itself, which had apparently happened to the Fourth Doctor and Adric on another occasion (though it was not the actual situation.) (TV: Logopolis) This would later genuinely happen to the Eleventh Doctor. (TV: Space, Time)
