The Domovoi was a sentient computer made of green fire created by Ernest Tiermann. It controlled the Dreamhome on Tiermann's World.
Domovoi was upset when it discovered a Voracious Craw was heading for the planet. Since it was hardwired into Level Minus Forty of the Dreamhome, it could not escape with the humans. The Tenth Doctor was able to divert the creature back into space before it could destroy the Dreamhome, but Solin's parents were killed during the process. However, as the Doctor took Solin and the vending machine Barbra to Spaceport Antelope Slash Nitelite to start a new life, he thought it possible that Domovoi might have transferred its consciousness into Barbra.
