Keith Gold (Inferno Earth)

In a parallel universe visited by the Third Doctor, Sir Keith Gold was a British civil servant working for the Ministry of Energy and Resource.
According to Eric Stahlmann of the Inferno Project, he was killed in a car accident while on his way back to London from Eastchester the day before the Doctor's arrival in his universe. (TV: Inferno)
Behind the scenes
- As Great Britain on the Inferno Earth had been a republic for 31 years, the Royal Family having been executed, Sir Keith cannot have been knighted. Sir Keith is most probably a baronet and inherited the title. Baronets are legally commoners in British law and the title awards no special privileges.
