If these words (found here) are to be believed, then the IMDB link is correct:

"Alison Bingeman later went on, under various names (including Alison Beynan and Alison Lea Bingeman) to write some highly respected episodes for USA television dramas including Relic Hunter, CSI:Miami and Whistler."

This information matches the info on IMDB, although it might have been, in all likelihood, taken from IMDB in the first place. She doesn't have a Wikipedia page, though it does have one for The Celestial Toymaker which lists her as the writer. SmallerOnTheOutside ☎ 02:34, December 30, 2012 (UTC)

It seems that she is indeed the same Bingeman, even listed as co-writer of the teleplay for the "Pawns" episode of The Hitchhiker, possibly making her one of the first American writers of an official Doctor Who publication.
