Chandra Scindia
Chandra Scindia was the patriarch of the Scindia family. He worshiped Kali.
In 1825, he was the Governor of Madhya Province and the Master of Thuggee. At the time he secretly worked to undermine the British influence.
In 2314, he was the head of Scindia-Corp. He paid Mumbai police to raid the apartment of Tiger Maratha. When they failed to find the required artefact or to apprehend the Twelfth Doctor, he transformed into a Kaliratha-like form and, together with other Scindia family members, murdered them. He later blackmailed the Doctor into trying to find one of the Swords of Kali by threatening to incinerate Clara Oswald, whom he subsequently turned into Kali. When the Doctor returned, he turned into his true form and attempted to kill his companion Rani Jhulka, revealing that he killed her lover Khair-un-Nissa Kapoor. Chandra was attacked by the spirits of all the Kaliratha's victims after Kali was defeated by the Doctor, allowing Rani to stab him through the back, killing him. (COMIC: The Swords of Kali)
