Mechon 719 was a Mechonoid on the planet Hesperus, where the Mechanoids had been preparing for eventual human colonisation for centuries. 719 helped defend the planet against a Daleks invasion, ultimately being among those that were destroyed at the beginning of the battle. Like the rest of the Mechanoids on the planet, it answered to a central computer. (PROSE: War of the Daleks)
