Born in the same year Doctor Who first aired Russell T Davies' contributions to Doctor Who are formidable. As executive producer and head writer he was at the forefront of Doctor Who when it was returned to TV screens in 2005 by BBC Wales. He is the creator of two other Doctor Who-related series; Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures and has written countless hours of other television.
