David Fielder auditioned for the role of the Seventh Doctor. The entire audition was filmed as a short, was scripted by Andrew Cartmel, directed by Andrew Morgan, produced by John Nathan-Turner and released as the Seventh Doctor Audition Tapes in Doctor Who: The Collection — Season 24.
