Craig Owens along with his flatmate, Sophie, took on a new lodger in their flat. When the lodger turned out to be the Doctor he helped them solve the mystery of the flat above them on Aickman Road. He was able to destroy the alien ship by thinking about how he wanted to stay with Sophie, as the ship oly wanted people who wanted to escape. (DW: The Lodger)
