Purple Haze

"Purple Haze" was a popular rock song written and (as far as most people knew) originally performed by Jimi Hendrix.

In the mid-1940s (two decades before Hendrix's version was produced), the Ninth Doctor entered a blues bar in Mississippi and performed a rendition of the song himself, technically making him the song's original performer. This performance was witnessed by mississippi man, who thought it was "incredible", though he later became confused upon hearing Hendrix's version of the song in 1969, wondering how the Doctor could've known about and performed the song several decades before it had been written.

In early 2005, mississippi man wrote about this experience on the conspiracy website Doctor Who?, adding that he was still "puzzled" by the event even now. (PROSE: Have You Seen This Man?)
