Behind the scenes

SEGA manufactured the Mega Drive, the console for which an untitled Doctor Who video game was reportedly being developed in the 1990s, which ultimately went unproduced.
Their flagship franchise is Sonic the Hedgehog, which officially crossed over with the DWU in LEGO Dimensions ^[+]Loading...["LEGO Dimensions (video game)"].
They acquired Three Rings, the developer of Worlds in Time ^[+]Loading...["Worlds in Time (video game)"], in 2011.
In the real world, SEGA ceased manufacturing consoles in 2001, with The Two Jasons ^[+]Loading...["The Two Jasons (novel)"] suggesting they either never stopped, had returned to doing so at some point, or that Jason simply owned a vintage console.
