Description

When you want to cite a magazine article, type this template and type recommended bibliographic details to make the magazine citation clear.

Usage

Most common forms

You can cite a magazine article by using the template forms below.

To cite an article with a credited author:

or

To cite an article with no credited author:

  • first – the author's first name
  • last – the author's last name
  • author – alternative to the first and last parameters
  • title – the article title
  • magazine - the magazine the article is from
  • date – when the magazine was published
  • publisher – name of the publisher
  • location – location or address
  • accessdate – when the magazine was accessed
  • pages – magazine's pages that you read
  • languauge – the language of the article
  • month – the month when the magazine was published
  • year – the year when the magazine was published
  • archiveurl – the URL of the magazine/article archive
  • authorlink – the URL of the author
  • accessyear – the year when you accessed the magazine
  • accessmonth – the month when you accessed the magazine
  • work
  • coauthors – name of coauthors
  • archivedate – date of the archive
  • quote – quote or note about the source
