Jennie or Jenny Linden was a young but very successful actress. She portrayed Dr. Who's granddaughter Barbara in Dr. Who and the Daleks, (PROSE: Lady Penelope Investigates the stars of the Sensational new film Dr. Who and the Daleks! Biography

Prior to appearing in Dr. Who and the Daleks, Jennie Linden had had a busy career, appearing in such television series as Emergency Ward 10, Sherlock Holmes and The Avengers.

After filming Dr. Who and the Daleks, Linden was invited by Penelope Creighton-Ward to a Soho restaurant alongside her costars and the actual Dr. Who (the latter of whom was unable to make it to the appointment). She wore a "dashing" outfit and a "most becoming" fluffy hat which greatly impressed Penelope's assistant Parker. Behind the scenes

In the real world, Jennie Linden indeed played Barbara in Dr. Who and the Daleks, although the movie was released in 1965, not 2065.

Lady Penelope Investigates the stars of the Sensational new film Dr. Who and the Daleks! was illustrated by a picture of the real Jennie Linden, meaning Linden arguably "portrayed" her futuristic in-universe counterpart.
