Wiltshire

Wiltshire, a county in England, was the location of the Hubway, regulating internet traffic throughout Europe (MA: System Shock) and possibly Devil's Hump. (MA: Who Killed Kennedy) UNIT received UFO reports from that county. (PDA: The Devil Goblins from Neptune)

Sometime prior to 102 AD, the alliance of Daleks, Sontarans, Cybermen and other races opposed to the Doctor buried the Pandorica, a trap for him, beneath Wiltshire at Stonehenge (DW: The Pandorica Opens ). It is unknown whether or not these aliens built Stonehenge itself.

Real World

It was the birth place of John Franklyn-Robbins, who played the unamed Time Lord at the start of the first part of Genesis of the Daleks.
