Fighting the Future

Fighting the Future was a book written by Joshua Naismith. Donna Noble purchased a copy of the book for her grandfather Wilf as a Christmas present. When he asked why she bought him it she said that she didn't know, but thought it was something he should know. When Wilf showed the book to him, the Doctor knew who Naismith was, having been shown him by the Ood Elder. He remarked that Donna's sub-concious, the DoctorDonna, was still fighting to help.
