The mood drug was discoverd after the event's of The Flesh insident. The whole city got hooked on this Mood Drug and over the process of six years the drug mutated into a airborn virus killing most ofthe population in upper New New York. There were only two knowing suvivors Novice Hame and the Face of Boe. The virus caused New New York to close the entrance to The Motorway in New New York so that the people in The slums or Lower New New York save (DW: Gridlock)
