Huon

Huon Particles were a type of particles that were originally found in the Dark Times of the universe.

Creation

Huon particles were originally destroyed by the Time Lords during the end of the war with the Racnoss, but they were recreated using equipment at the Torchwood Institute.

It is unknown if the Torchwood Institute was working on creating Huon particles before the Empress of the Racnoss took over the base.

The Huon particles can be created by using a hydrogen bases, creating them in liquid form. This inert liquid Huon needs to be activated in a living being, such as a Human. The huon particles can be drank in water and will then be activated by stressful situations. This process can take as much as 6 months or as little as a few minutes. Once activated, the huon particles will start to glow and become magnetized, attracting other Huon particles. (DW: The Runaway Bride)

Uses

The main uses of Huon particles was by the Racnoss to power their spacecraft, as well as to wake up the hibernating Racnoss at the centre of the Earth. There were also small amounts in the Doctor's TARDIS. (DW: The Runaway Bride)
