Biroc was a Tharil, a time sensitive species.
Biography
He was taken as a slave to use by humans to navigate the time lines and help them escape from the Gateway. Romana and K-9 stayed in E-Space to assist Biroc in freeing his species from slavery. (DW: Warriors' Gate)
