The Electro was an old film theatre in Cardiff. The building had a record of Rift activity, but when it re-opened in 2008 it had been quiet for years.
On the opening night they showed clippings from old films found in the basement. But some of the people on one piece of film walked out of the screen. One of these persons killed the owners, David and Faith Penn. Later Torchwood Three filmed these characters and deleted them. (TW: From Out of the Rain)

- The entrance to the Electro was also used as the entrance to Spellman's Magical Museum of the Circus in SJA: The Day of the Clown and the place where Estelle Cole held her talk abour Fairies in TW: Small Worlds.
