Shown is the space battle above the planet Armagedos, a suicidal attempt at a distraction to allow transport ships from the planet to take survivors clear of the Dalek invading forces. By reversing the polarity of the canons neutron flow, the colonists were able to break through the Dalek shield and escape the planet, entering hyperspace and regroup.
