Rendition was the second episode of Torchwood: Miracle Day.

Synopsis

As the Torchwood team is reunited, Captain Jack realises he is the most vulnerable man on the planet. And a flight to the USA turns into a fight for survival.[1]

Plot

Jack, Gwen, Rhys and Anwen are being driven to an Air base in Cardiff, Rex interrogates them about there knowledge of Torchwood and they tell him everything. Rex informs them he will take them to Washington D.C, meanhwile Oswald Jones has been released from jail and is back on the streets, he is attacked by an angry mob who blame him for the murder of 12 year old Susie Cabria, a woman named Suzanne scares them off with a gun, and takes Oswald in. Suzanne tells him with her help she can make him famous and loved by the world. Jack and the team board a Boeing 747-400 to journy to America, onbored Jack is experienceing pain as he is becoming mortal, meanwhile at Washington D.C secret communications base, Esther Drummond is informed of Rex bringing the Torchwood team to Washington. at the Washington state hospitel, the wards are rapidly being filled wiht people who have been killed but arent going to die, Dr Juraz works quickly to operate on them. The team arrive in Washington D.C and Jack begins to experience painful fits, Gwen knows he will die because he is know Mortal, Oswald appears on television and tells the world he knows why no one on earth is dead, and everyone becomes obsessed with him, Suzannne is proud of Oswald and he thanks her for helping him rise to fame, Oswald orders his own private army to track down and kill Torchwood. Jack is saved by his fits, but Oswalds men have tracked chase them down and they end up in a factory in Washington, the soldiers plant explosives in the base and the team becomes trapped.
