Egypt was a country in northeastern Africa.

History of Egypt

BC

Around 5000 BC, the Osirians visited Egypt during their battle with Sutekh and were worshipped as gods. (DW: Pyramids of Mars) One Osirian, Thoueris, attempted to capitalise on this by demanding tributes from the natives, and feeding those who did not comply to crocodiles. She was later defeated and killed by crocodiles under the Eighth Doctor's control. (DWM: The Power of Thoueris!) Khnum was either a Dæmon or a race memory of one. (DW: The Dæmons)
